As founder of Endeavour CBT, I am open about my past as a former convict. My mistakes cost me my freedom, my career, and years with my family. But those years also gave me time to reflect, rebuild, and discover what truly matters. Living in a therapeutic community for four years helped me face my struggles, change my thinking, and experience the true power of therapy.
I named the organisation Endeavour CBT after the unit “Endeavour” at HMP Dovegate Therapeutic Community, where I spent four years working on myself and supporting others. That experience inspired me to create a service dedicated to giving others the same chance to rebuild. Today, we stand alongside people who are vulnerable, struggling, or simply in need of someone to listen, offering therapy, benefits advice, and supported housing to those who often feel forgotten.
My mission is to show that no matter how broken things may seem, there is always hope. Everyone deserves a second chance, and with compassion and support, lives can be rebuilt. Endeavour CBT is more than an organisation it is a community of resilience, dignity, and the belief that by helping the needy, we build a kinder, stronger society for all.
